Blocks in HextaUI Pro

  • Agent Todos: Show an agent’s plan as it works. Every step moves from backlog to to do, in progress and done, with live timings, failures and the tool calls behind it. A status pill for above the composer, plan changes you can see, and a review step to edit the plan before it runs.
  • Chat Sidebar: The sidebar for a chat app. Logo, search and New chat up top, your own links below it, pinned chats, projects that expand to show their chats, recents grouped by day, and rows with hover and right-click menus, inline rename, delete with undo and live reply states.
  • Chat Thread: The whole conversation around the composer. Your question pins to the top while the answer streams, checkpoints on the side jump between messages, and every reply can be copied, edited, retried, rated and switched between versions. Replies render Markdown with code blocks, tables and citations, and thinking, tool calls and Prompt Input slot straight in.
  • Code Block: Code blocks built for AI answers. Syntax highlighting that keeps up with streaming, copy, download and wrap, line numbers and highlighted lines, diffs with accept and reject, and a terminal for commands.
  • HextaAI: A complete AI chat app built from every HextaUI AI block. Chats in a sidebar, thinking with sources, tool calls with diffs and approvals, a plan you review before the agent runs, streamed Markdown and code, and silent voice mode, all driven by AI SDK message parts.
  • Markdown: Markdown made for AI answers. It streams smoothly and never shows half-typed syntax, with headings you can link to, tables you can copy as Markdown or CSV, GitHub callouts, task lists, footnotes, images, inline citations and full code blocks.
  • Prompt Input: A chat composer that starts as one calm line, grows into a card as you write, and moves down once the conversation starts. Enter sends, safe with Japanese and Chinese input. Paste, drop or pick files with previews, progress and retry. @ adds files and / runs commands from a menu at the caret. A model picker with number keys, an effort slider that comes alive at Max, a context ring, dictation with a live waveform, tool chips, a queue for messages typed while a reply streams, and drafts that survive a reload.
  • Streaming: Stream AI responses that read smoothly. Bursty chunks from the model are revealed at a steady pace that speeds up to catch up, with a soft fade on new words and a caret while it writes.
  • Thinking: Show what a model is doing while it works. A shader orb and a live label that follows each step, a collapsible trail of searches, source chips and reasoning, then an answer with citations right beside the claims they support.
  • Tool Calls: Show what an agent does, one line per step. Reads and searches fold into a short summary, while edits, commands, approvals and errors stay in view. Each step opens into a real view: the file, the diff, the terminal or the results. Every AI SDK tool state is covered, including approvals with a reason to give instead.
  • Voice Mode: Talk to your assistant. Eight audio-reactive styles, from a cloudy sky and a ferrofluid blob to dithered pixels, ASCII, a CRT planet, halftone dots, a single ring and a soft aura, plus four reactive dots. A full-screen session with mute, interrupt and captions, an in-chat voice pill, a voice picker, and a browser engine that listens, waits for you to finish and replies.
